How Are Thrombosed or Clotted Hemorrhoid Formed?

Every year, millions of people are affected by hemorrhoids worldwide. If you find yourself dumbfounded with how hemorrhoids came about in your life, you’re not alone. Thrombosed or clotted hemorrhoid is usually caused by several factors — you may not be aware of.

Dehydration is a causative factor to the development of hemorrhoids. Your body is composed of 60% water, an essential compound needed for our body to function. Recommended water intake is usually six to eight glasses of water per day. If your body is dehydrated, this can thicken your blood and cause an increase in blood pressure. When your blood pressure shoots up, this can add pressure to your blood vessels. Overtime, this can weaken your blood vessels, thus the formation of hemorrhoids.

Formation of hemorrhoids can also be due to constipation. Individuals who have low fiber content in their meals are prone for this condition. Fiber aids in the regulation of your bowel movement. High dairy intake and dehydration may aggravate constipation as well. When you’re constipated, you’re likely to strain more leading to weakening of blood vessels.

Improper toilet posture can cause thrombosed or clotted hemorrhoid as well. Although toilets are made for our comfort when we do our ‘thing’, our body is not. If you sit on the toilet for prolong periods of time, this can increase the pressure on your abdominal artery. This can lead to pouching of the blood vessel, thus hemorrhoid formation.

There are several things you can do to counter this. For dehydration, you need to drink adequate fluids all the time. If you’re working out, it’s best that you drink more water. Don’t replace water with carbonated drinks and sodas as these won’t replenish your body.

Proper diet can also prevent hemorrhoid development. Fruits and vegetables are packed with nutrients to strengthen your blood vessels. It’s also important to incorporate fiber to help in the digestive process and bowel movement. Avoid drinking too much coffee or consuming high caffeine products as this may aggravate or provoke the condition.

Exercising regularly can help in regulating blood circulation in the body. Try hitting the gym three times a week and do some cardio exercises. If you’re on a tight budget or schedule, you can always have a 15 to 30 minute jog around the park.

If you know the causes of thrombosed or clotted hemorrhoid, you’ll be able to prevent further aggravation of the condition. It’s general knowledge that prevention is always better than cure. So, stop the bad habits and start living a healthier life — hemorrhoid free!

There are about 40% individuals who are affected by itching and irritating hemorrhoids. Anyone suffering from this can be an excruciating experience indeed. Most are too embarrassed to tell their doctors about this, hoping that everything will just go away. If you’re lucky, this will go away. If not, you’re bound for an experience that’s going to prolong your agony.

So, how do you get hemorrhoid pain relief  fast? Read on.

Witch hazel is a common pain reliever for hemorrhoids. This herb contains soothing properties to ease pain and irritation in most hemorrhoid sufferers. You can also use this with Aloe Vera and cranesbills that also have similar soothing effects. Combining these three herbs may speed up the recovery process. Use adequate amount of the substance and place it topically on the affected areas.

Warm sitz bath may also bring hemorrhoid pain relief. This is usually recommended by most doctors to relieve irritations. Increasing fiber content in your diet may also provide hemorrhoid pain relief. This can ease constipation and improve bowel movement. When you have adequate fiber in your diet, you don’t have to strain as much when you’re having your bowel elimination. Stool softeners and laxatives may be prescribed to minimize constipation.

One way to get hemorrhoid pain relief  is by avoiding these food selections. It may be best to avoid dairy products as well. Dairy products contain lactic acid that can irritate protruding hemorrhoids.

Keep in mind that these treatments may not always work out for you. These are just primary treatments that may deliver hemorrhoid pain relief. However, if your condition worsens, it’s best to consult professional advice and have the appropriate treatments right away. How to Relieve Itchy Hemorrhoids in Five Easy Ways

Hemorrhoids will give you the most uncomfortable experience. People who have this condition find it embarrassing to consult this with their doctors. Just thinking about it might’ve brought images of pain and itchy hemorrhoids. Want to get rid of it fast? Get itch-free in five easy methods!

So, why do hemorrhoids itch in the first place?

Internal hemorrhoids are irritating to the mucus membrane surrounding the anal area. With constant irritation, these mucus membranes produce more mucus to lubricate the affected region. Overproduction of mucus can lead to leakage outside the inner portion of the anus — and out to the rectum. When mucus membranes dry up, this produces itchy hemorrhoids making the area irritated.

Another factor can be due to pressure on the inflamed hemorrhoids. When pressure is added to the lower extremities, this makes the hemorrhoids become swollen and irritated. As this grow bigger, hemorrhoids become more irritated, thus the burning and swelling sensation.

Protruding vessels outside the rectum can be another cause to itchy hemorrhoids. External hemorrhoids are usually irritated due to cleansing agents like soap that can leave it dry and inflamed. Of course, without proper hygiene to the anal area, it can also irritate your hemorrhoids.

Treatments for hemorrhoids may vary. You can change your diet to improve hemorrhoid itching. Acidic food selections can increase the Ph in your stools. Caffeinated drink like coffee, sodas and other alcoholic beverages are some you need to avoid if you have this condition. Drinking adequate fluid intake should help ease the itchiness. It’s good to eat more fruits and vegetables to keep your body nourished and prevent constipation.

Hot stiz bath is one way to treat irritated hemorrhoids. Just use your bath tub or basin and have it filled with warm water. Clean the rectum first before starting this treatment. For 15 minutes, soak the area twice or five times per day.

There are several anti-itch medications for hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoid creams contain pain relieving and anti-itching properties such as witch hazel, 1% hydrocortisone and other herbs that may alleviate mild hemorrhoids. Be sure to read the labels to get maximum results.

There are several other ways you can combat itchy hemorrhoids. Preventing hemorrhoids to aggravate or develop is the most reliable cure you could get. Some hemorrhoids may go away naturally so this won’t need intensive treatments. Severe cases of hemorrhoids may cause infection and bleeding, all which requires medical treatments. Your doctor will be the best person to give you the appropriate treatments when there’s moderate to severe hemorrhoid formations.

How to Detect Symptoms of Piles and Treat them?

Piles or hemorrhoids are small clumps that may be the source of your discomfort from work, home and may even take its toll on your social life. So, how do you know you’re experiencing symptoms of piles? Will these naturally go away without treatments?

Piles are often due to the pressure placed on your lower extremities. Just the same way as varicose veins are formed, the increase in pressure causes these blood vessels to weaken. When this happens, blood rushes to that weakened vessel forming a pouch. This is the root of all these symptoms.

So, how do you know if you have piles?

There are two types of piles: internal and external. Here are some general symptoms of piles that may be indicated for both categories:

Irritation or itching in the anal area
Pain in the affected area
Blood seen after bowel movement, tissue swipes or in the underwear

Internal piles are usually associated with bleeding in the underwear or tissue after a bowel movement. This may be alarming for most people as this may indicate far more severe medical conditions. You need to have your doctor check this for further analysis. Usually, internal piles will have painless bleeding.

External piles are those found outside the anus. This may be formed because an internal hemorrhoid prolapsed and caused it to protrude outside the anal canal. Or, the blood vessel just protruded along the rectal opening. External piles are painful especially if you place pressure on them through prolong sitting, standing and straining. This can be uncomfortable and may hinder your productivity at work.

Complications arise if you don’t have it treated right away. Symptoms of piles may become severe and lead to several health problems.

There are several treatments for piles depending on the severity. Piles are usually treated with non-surgical methods like banding and sclerotherapy. These have lesser risks compared to invasive procedures. Hemorrhoidectomy is a common invasive procedure that surgically removes piles. Procedures like this will require you to undergo a general anesthesia with higher risks for bleeding and other problems to occur.

If you see early symptoms of piles, then you should look to seek advice. Piles are a very common and can be treated quite easily. Depending on the type of piles you have, whether they are internal or external, will depend on the type of treatment you need.

One of they key elements to diagnosing and treating your Piles is to understand what is causing the problem, as discuss earlier, Piles can be caused in a variety of ways. The first thing you need to do is treat the discomfort, whether that be itchiness, pain, throbbing or soreness. There is nothing worse than being at work or out with your friends and feeling the discomfort. Then the next step is to work out what is best for you to treat and eradicate your piles.
