Another way to prevent thrombosed haemorrhoids is by adding fiber in your diet. Most people don’t have enough fiber in their diet and this usually leads to constipation. You can add oatmeal, beans, legumes, nuts, whole grains and fiber supplements in your meals and snacks. Fiber aids in digestive system function by regulating your bowel movements. Fiber draws out a lot of water from your body, so it’s important that you drink six to ten glasses of water per day.
In conjunction with fiber intake, adequate fluid intake is also important in haemorrhoid prevention. Drinking adequate fluids should keep your body functioning at to its best and avoid dehydration. Most of us are consuming sodas and other carbonated drinks instead of pure water. These carbonated beverages contain empty calories that your body doesn’t need, which can lead to weight gain. If you’re thinking of reaching for a can of soda, reach for a glass of water instead.
Exercising is a vital to keep your body mobilizing. It’s important to keep your blood circulating normally in preventing haemorrhoids. Exercising regulates the flow of blood from your lower body area to that of the upper portion of the body.
